Family Support Group - a 10 week education and empowerment programme for partners and family members of people who use substances Friday's fortnightly from 10am to 12pm at the Doorways to Parenting Room (The Bridge Centre)

Group assists to remove some of the feeling of isolation that can occur when supporting someone who uses substances.

Next group is scheduled for Friday 18th February 2022.

Be the change to...

Courage & Connection (Education and Empowerment Program) Thursdays from 10am to 12pm (Matrix Room at the Bridge Centre - Creek Rd New Town) 10-week program that covers a basic understanding of addiction, addiction and the brain, self-care, communication, and boundary setting skills. This group is only attended by friends, family members and supports of someone with a substance dependency. Attendees do not need to have a loved one engaged with a Bridge Program treatment service.

Next round starts 10th February 2022.

AOD Specialist Simon Azon-Jacometti is available in the The Salvation Army Huonville Corp (35 Wilmot Street, Huonville), or The Salvation Army Kingborough Corp (3 Opal drive, Blackmans Bay) every Thursday from 9am - 3pm and Friday 9am -12 pm and is available for drop-in appointments.

AOD specialist Paul de Bomford is at The Salvation Army Glenorchy Corp every Monday morning from 9am to 12:pm and alternative Friday mornings from 9am to 1230pm for clients with pre-arranged appointments and for drop-in appointments.
And the Salvation Army New Norfolk Corp alternative Friday mornings from 9am – 12:30pm for clients with pre-arranged appointments and for drop-in appointments
